I was holding off on this poll until the patch was released, but since it was delayed 'til Friday (see below) we'll just stay on schedule and post it today. The poll will be up until at least Monday, so you can wait to check out the patch before voting if you feel the need to.
This week's VE poll asks: How would you grade Titan Quest?
Vote on your right!
Here are the results of last week's poll which asked about the Prey demo:

I was sniffing around the forums looking for news of the Titan Quest patch that was supposed to be released today and discovered a post by THQ Senior Creative Manager "Eyejinx" on VN: I know that this will not be a popular bit of news, but we have pushed back the ETA on the patch from today until Friday, July 7th. We are doing everything we can to ensure that issues are addressed effectively and that the process of patching will go as smoothly as possible.
While we can't give you the patch today, we do have the next best thing, which is the official patch notes.
Patch Notes
- Fixed crash caused by teleporting in multiplayer after players used Rally skill
- Fixed NPC dialogue windows closing when NPC moves to avoid other characters
- Fixed bug with different relic bonuses for different players in multiplayer
- Fixed relic completion sounds propagating to all clients in multiplayer
- Fixed multiplayer lobby UI error with sort arrow
- Fixed a multiplayer lobby crash
- Fixed internet connection problem with custom maps
- Fixed a memory leak
- Improves multiplayer connection reliability
- Improves multiplayer performance
- Improves item auto-placement in inventory
- Added character back-up functionality
- Added option to disable compatibility check
Most players will be able to get the patch from the "Updates" button on the main menu. If you have a supported hardware configuration and are unable to start the game due to a failed compatibility check, you will need to download the stand-alone patch. We will provide a separate URL for this.
We are still working on fixes for various other crashes that people are experiencing. The posts that people have been making on the forums about their detailed system specs have given us a good data set to work with, and we are in the process of assembling hardware and reproducing the issues that people are having. We are also working on an improved error reporting system, which we hope to roll out in the near future. Meanwhile, if you're having any hardware issues, there are a lot of reach-arounds work-arounds on the tech boards.

I hope you guys had a nice four-day weekend. I played about ten hours of Titan Quest and had a bunch of fun. Apparently, some people are having problems looting. In case you didn't know (or were stubborn enough to play through the entire game the hard way) there are hot keys that highlight the drops. It defaults to the "Z" for all loot, or "X" for the better stuff. Then you just mouse over to the highlighted text and click on it to pick 'em up. You can even filter what you want to grab (i.e. - yellow items or better). I can't imagine trying to play the game and manually mousing around trying to loot stuff. So, um... yeah. Reading the manual for the win...
I haven't had any problems with crashes or bugs, but there's a patch coming out later today for folks not so lucky. Knock on wood.
Today's question:
What new game are you most looking forward to?
