As announced at the FINAL FANTASY XI Fan Festival 2006, players will finally be able to raise their own chocobos! Adjustments to Besieged, new missions and quests, and a variety of other additions and changes are also on the way! A. We considered this possibility, but due to various factors, the chocobo naming system will be similar to the wyvern and automaton name selection process.
