Level Cap to 14 As a player of the D&D; game, you know that levels in DDO are completely unlike levels in other massively multiplayer online (MMO) games. Instead of getting a more powerful version of your fire-based spell, youre getting completely new spells that change the dynamic of the game. The latest update to the game brings new spells and abilities, such as crippling strike, destruction, freedom of movement, indomitable will, summon natures ally, Tensers transformation, and more!
Enhancements Enhancements provide players with more level-up opportunities than traditional pen and paper, with the added benefit of allowing more customization to occur. If you want to play a cleric who is particularly good at healing, then you can focus on that. Other builds might be very good at turning, a specialist in diplomacy, or other combinations. A fighter might want to be the great intimidator while the rogue might want to be a master of picking locks. Specialize or generalize, the choice is yours.
Races have similar options, allowing for particular observant elves, more hardy dwarves, and other bonuses. These build on the race itself, allowing players to shore up weaknesses or enhance their strengths as they see fit.
Landscape Adventures While playing in dungeons is at the heart of the D&D; game, theres more to adventure than that! As DDO continues to grow weve been adding new outdoor adventure areas. Locales like the Sands of Menechtarun, Stormcleave, Tangleroot Gorge, Three-barrel Cove, and others provide new opportunities to adventure!
The launch of Reavers Bane brings with it the Cerulean Hills, an outdoor adventure area where new players can explore outside the city gates of Stormreach. The Cerulean Hills offer players a new questing experience that is great for both solo and group play. High-level characters can explore Gianthold and experience the same new questing experience as low-level characters.
We are a guild located on he Aundair server that has been in existence for approximately one year now. Our membership is comprised of mostly casual, knowledgeable individuals committed to the spirit of team play and cooperation.
Trade or No Trade?[ Comment ] Print News | Category: D&D; Online - D&D; Online Hosted by Sir Lawrence dDeneith, "Trade or No Trade" is the thrilling hit game show where contestants wheel and deal their way to the possible grand prize of a vorpal sickle!
Do you have what it takes to win this battle of nerves? Are you willing to try for the vorpal while taking the chance that you might end up with a potion of Cure Light Wounds instead? If so, be sure to check the list below for the time when "Trade or No Trade" will be coming to the Livewood Theater in House Phiarlan on your server.
+ Sir Lawrence dDeneith will randomly select someone from the audience to come to the center of the stage. + Sir Lawrence dDeneith will then give the contestant a chance to look at the exclusive (this event only) item, the Eternal Titan Wand. The contestant then decides if they want to keep the wand, or if they want to take their chances on a random die roll. The outcome of the roll determines what prize they will get, ranging from level 0 loot all the way up to level 12 loot, with a +1 Vorpal Sickle of Haggling as the ultimate prize. Will you chose wisely?
It has just come to our attention that a high diplomacy skill DOES affect the loot given in chests. We have done extensive testing on this and we have come up with the following procedure to guarantee that you get the best possible loot every single time:
1) Equip all of your best +CHA items
2) Circle the chest three time moving counter-clockwise.
3) Use your Diplomacy skill
4) Open the chest from the north-facing side of the chest.
Also, "looking for ham" may, in some cases, affect loot-gained. We still aren't sure at what point in the process you should turn on /lfh though. As soon as we know, well be sure to let you know.
We apologize for the confusion on the matter and we are truly sorry that you have gotten any less than the maximum loot for the past year. Following the steps above should ensure this doesn't happen again.

In April, we introduced the Vault of Night storyline and the Red Dragon Raid boss, along with a handful of other dungeons and 2 new monster species (Red Dragon & Vampire).
In May, we began to respond to the communitys concern that we did not have enough Solo content, and so started our year-long focus on the solo experience by releasing three level 1 solo dungeons.
In June, we greatly expanded on the solo-able experience by creating a new difficulty level of Solo and applied it to the Harbor dungeons.
July saw the release of our second Module, which introduced the Restless Isles, Twilight Forge story arc, the Favor System, and a new playable race, the Drow. July also introduced 3 new monsters species (Mindflayer, Ogre Mage, and Wild Man), and the feared Warforged Titan Raid boss.
The Litany of the Dead, Part 1 was released in August, and started the Necropolis story arc while introducing another 2 new monster species (Mummy, Lich).
In September, we stayed true to our monthly releases of content with 5 new adventures throughout Stormreach and 1 new monster species (Mummy Soldier).
On October 25th, we released one of the largest free MMO updates in the industry. The Demon Sands Module included a huge Desert landscape area and a new city area called Zawabis Refuge, as well as a long list of new features and improvements. Some highlights include: the Marilith raid, level cap increased to level 12, 33 new spells, 6 new feats, 4 new monster species (Efreet, Djinni, Rakshasa, and Gnoll), the Auction House system, 2 types of Player versus Player combat (light-weight, free-for-all Tavern Brawls, and team-based Arena Battles), major combat system adjustments, and more solo dungeons.
In November, we responded directly to community feedback and made changes to the Death Penalty system, to reduce the death penalty, especially at Levels 11 and 12, and to return more XP lost from death when using a resurrection shrine. We also adjusted the fees charged by the Auctions Systems, especially around using the Buyout feature.
In December, we continued our monthly game releases, and introduced 6 new adventures in and around Stormreach.
In January, we released Litany of the Dead Part 2 which included 5 new adventures and XP Debt Decay feature, which allows XP Debt accrued from dying to disappear slowly while in town or logged off.
