 | | | | | Richard's Toronto Games Day Blog! Print News | Category: Mythic News Richard has updated his blog with a great read about his time spent at the Toronto Games Day!
Now that things have settled down a little around the office I can get into my weekend in beautiful Toronto a little more.
I posted a some pics in my album from the trip... They're ummmm... interesting. I had an absolute blast. I know I make fun of Canada some times... Ok, all the time, but honestly it was one of the best trips I've been on in quite a while. Of course the fact that it was only a one day event didn't hurt that any......

 | | | | | Changes at EAMythic - Sanya Departs Print News | Category: Mythic News Marc Jacobs has posted on the Camelot Herald letting us all know that Sanya has left EAMythic.
Everyone here at WarhammerVault wishes Sanya all the best life has to offer, and good luck to Richard, Jeremy and Joanne in their new roles for the company!
I regret to announce that as a result of a mutually agreed parting of the ways, Sanya Weathers is leaving Electronic Arts. While this will result in a change to the best community team in the industry, there will be no disruptions to our games or our community. Richard will continue to spread Waaagh! amidst the growing Warhammer community. Jeremy is flying the banner for UO as they prepare for a Kingdom Reborn. Parizad has been a welcome addition to our team in the last few months working on The Sims Online and Dark Age of Camelot. Since Missy will be out on maternity leave for a while, to help cover we take this opportunity to welcome Joanne to the community team. Joanne has been playing MMO's since '97 and was an outstanding member of our "team lead" group for DAoC.

 | | | | | Gamespy Interview with Marc Jacobs! Print News | Category: Interviews Following the release of yesterday's newsletter announcing a delay in the game launch, Marc Jacobs sits down with Gamespy to go over this decision, and what surrounded it.
GameSpy: Was the decision to delay the game made by the development team alone or was it made in conjunction with other departments? When did you come to the obviously difficult decision to delay the game and what kind of procedure do you have to go through in order to get everybody's sign off.
Jacobs: This was a decision made by EA Mythic. However, EA is a big company and very little is done in a vacuum. Once the reasons behind the decisions were communicated, everyone was very supportive of the move. We all want this game to be a phenomenal success and if it takes a couple extra months to complete, then that is what we will do.
