Some accounts are not receiving certain email notifications (like direct message emails). We’re working on it and will update again once they’re back.

We’ve temporarily shut off the “Add your location” function on web browsers; we’ll update again once it’s back on.
Beginning around 10:30am PST this morning we will be conducting maintenance on Twitter which will affect account creation and modification. During the maintenance it will not be possible to create a new Twitter account or modify the settings on any existing accounts. This limitation affects Twitter.com, Twitter’s mobile clients, and 3rd party clients. However, all other features which do not concern account creation/account settings will remain available.
We expect the maintenance to take about 1-2 hours. We will update this post when the maintenance is complete. Thank you for your patience!
UPDATE: (11:00am PST) It appears that the favorite and block features are affected by our maintenance. Users will be unable to favorite Tweets, block users, or report users as spam until our maintenance is complete.
UPDATE: (11:37am PST) The maintenance is now complete. All functionality should be returning to normal.
