Standalone DJ Hero Turntables Now Available

March 23, 2010 - Today Activision announced standalone turntable controllers are now available for DJ Hero. The game has been out since last October but until now if you wanted to play the dual turntable multiplayer mode you needed to find someone else who owned the game. A poster by artist Shepard Fairey featuring the DJ Hero cast will be included in the first 100,000 boxes of the standalone controller. More »

Google Closes Chinese Site

March 22, 2010 - After a PR nightmare that involved corporate espionage and strongly censored search results, Google has officially brought down their mainland Goggle.cn branch. Anyone that tries to access that URL gets re-directed to the company's Google.com.hk site, which includes the message "Welcome to the new home of Google China search." The offshore Hong Kong site is completely uncensored, which effectively gives all Chinese users access to unfiltered search results. More »
