This is the first game in a popular series of WW2 strategy/ war games. This installment covers the Normandy landings at the Omaha beachhead. It consists of a series of missions that involve controlling groups of units through historically-based scenarios with multiple objectives. A variety of authentic unit types feature. The games are played from an overhead perspective and an effective system of map views and menu options help you keep track of the action. Alongside the single-player game, is a multi-player mode.
