Beginning May 14, consumers will be able to enter the "Transform Your Summer" sweepstakes online at http://www.transformyoursummer.com/. Thousands of prizes will be given away each day and consumers will be able to choose the prize they would like the chance to win by entering the daily drawing of their choice. There will be several daily drawings each offering a different prize. The "Transform Your Summer" prizes include the Ultimate Gaming Package (Xbox 360, Panasonic 42" Plasma HDTV, games and accessories), trips to major sporting events, vacation packages and many other items. In addition, a limited-edition Pepsi(TM) Optimus Prime(R) collectible truck figure will be available as part of the promotion.
As we walked up the street that was blocked off to the general public, extras bustled passed us and prepared for another take. Transformers used for the filming that day were Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Jazz. There were camera cranes placed over the cars and at the end of the road were styrofoam rocks made to look like concrete. It looked as though they had been blown up and two crashed cars were being loaded onto a tow truck. There were men dressed in military uniforms standing in the middle of it all.
To get to the pictures, click "Transformers" on the left side of the screen then choose "Transformers Tech Check". You can drag the zoom tool around each picture to get a detailed view of the bots. Optimus Prime, Megatron, Ironhide, Starscream, Bumblebee, Frenzy, Jazz, and Blackout are all featured. Sorry, no Megan Fox.
The tortured scream of twisting metal fills the air as for the first time TRANSFORMERS meet in battle on Earth. One of them is a relentless hunter without mercy, whose dark, alien mind is focused only on his goal. The other is sworn to protect life wherever he finds it, and defend the weak against those who would harm them. The two metal warriors trade blows as part of a war thousands of years old.
The set will be released on June 2nd exclusively at Wal-Mart, which is great because you'll be able to pick up the figures along with some bandages at the same store in case anyone gets hurt amidst all that battle and tortured screaming of twisted metal.

Character idea for the Transformers sequel: Sparrowjack, the morally bankrupt transforming pirate ship voiced by Johnny Depp, complete with an awkward swagger while in robot form.
