Want to see your dream hero title for the next Hero of Albion actually used in Fable 2? Then hurry over to the Fable 2 site at Lionhead Studios. They are running a competition which could allow you to see just this.

Head over to The Competition Page and send in one title along with what is means. It is as simple as that.

This closes on the 30th March 2007, so get your thinking caps on.

GDC came and went faster than one could imagine, yet left us with an overwhelming amount of information. I would initially like to apologize for not having been able to follow up through the entire process, yet I was caught up with the homecoming and the initiation of this New Year’s courses. This shouldn’t happen again though and in order to assure this, I would like to present to everyone the two new newsies who will be working here at Ego-Maniacs.com. They include Lamarose from our very own forums and Jtsolo who is also the administrator of the ever growing Fable 2 Facebook community. I would also like to thank everyone else who submitted their entrees in order to help out; it was much appreciated.

In any case, we would like to present to everyone the list of new information presented out to us these past few days, so if you haven’t done so already, you may catch up along with us.

• One of the most commented on surprises was the private demonstration by Peter Molyneux on the early stages of Fable 2. This was quite interesting seeing as how we managed to obtain a view of Fable 2 and had a chance to have a walkthrough story of how everything would work out. • One of the most important updates in which it involves any and all interested fans is the rebirth of the Hero title competition. Some of you may remember that this was done back for the original Fable game, in which several members of the Lionhead community were allowed to submit hero titles which were then selected and added onto the game.

Spend too long lurking in the shadows of a graveyard with the undead minions and you’ll find the name “Necromancer” is given to you. Surviving on a diet of pies alone? Maybe “Pie-Master” is the appropriate name for you? And who doesn’t remember being called “Chicken Chaser”?

We won’t be telling you everything regarding these Hero Titles in Fable 2, but we do have a question (challenge) for you! The following few weeks (until Friday, 30th March) anyone can send us a Hero Title! Send one title (and explain what it means) to this adress; and the Fable team will select the best ones. Then the voting begins on the official Fable 2 forums!”So this may be your oportunity to get involded in the creation of the sequel. Sit down, have a drink while holding a pen and paper in your hands and let your imagination do the rest.

• Lionhead Studios finally launched the official Fable 2 site. Both Sam and Woody have been working at length with this among several other things, so it’s great to have this accomplished. Click Here, to view the new website!

• Morgan Webb from G4 had the opportunity to obtain a short interview with Meter Molyneux in which he states that one of the most important features he is working on is the fact to make the player feel emotional with the game they are playing. Click Here, to view the video!

• The folks at Penny Arcade sketched up a new comic strip in which it depicts the pregnancy stage of a hero’s life. Surprisingly this has brought up more interest on the crankiness of the female player… Click Here, to view the comic strip!

The owner of Fable-2.com forums  has embarked upon a new and exciting project; The Fable Wiki.

The Fable Wiki site is still in it’s infancy, as there is still much to be added to it to make it what should be one of the primary stops for infomation on all things Fable. With this being a wiki, anyone can add their two bits of knowledge to it. So if you have some good knowledge of the lands and the lives of all things in the world of Albion then pop over and share with the rest of the Fable community.

Gamepro.com interviewed Peter Molyneux yesterday on the state of Fable 2 and some overall general questions about what is being taken into account for the upcoming sequel.

 Molyneux: No, there are some familiar elements. There are some locations which you may have heard about in the past, and actually during my GDC [Game Developer’s Conference] talk in March, I am going to be unveiling a couple of those locations and how they have evolved since the last time you played Fable. The change is dramatic from the opening shot of the game, and I want that to be jaw-droppingly dramatic.
