The vast, desolate stretches of the Plains of Judgment, set among rocky peaks and gaping chasms, are nearly enough to sap even the bravest of will or hope. This is the forbidding waste that, from time immemorial, every soul has crossed to reach the Tower of Judgment, and there be judged. It is also the home of most shades--all whose lives were neither exceptionally good nor terrible. Pale shades linger here and there across the plains, over the centuries and millennia slowly losing the last trace of memory and identity, fading into empty, pale forms.
The fresh shade, on the path to judgment, steps out of the marshes of the Styx into the City of Lost Souls. This city is carved out of the very stone foundation of the Underworld. It is home to many of the shades who are inhabitants of the plains, and to many passing through, or lingering, hoping not to be judged quite so soon. Unlike the living, shades have little weight or substance. They think nothing of the steep wall faces into which their stone houses are carved. Nor does the winding, mazelike path through the city bother them. The new shades feel the constant pull of the tower and do not lose their way. The old shades have no ambitions or goals. They meander the byways, cross the stone bridges, and linger in their halls and homes as they will.
The video spotlights the new Dream Mastery and is hosted by Iron Lore's Gameplay Designer, Ian Frazier. Highlights of the video include:
The Dream Mastery is a tab is available to any sort of character and any potential build.
Dream Mastery, while mainly a support tab, can also be used as a primary skill tab as well.
Players can start from the beginning of the game with Dream Mastery as their main tab.
As a result of adding the Dream Mastery tab, nine new character classes are available for players.
There are three trances available in the dream mastery:
The Trance of Empathy which allows you to reflect damage back at the enemy
The Trance of Convalescence which allows players to heal very quickly
The Trance of Empowerment which allows characters to increase magical and melee abilities
A 'pet' is available that allows you to buff all of your pets and the pets of your party members (so-called synergistic behavior between the masteries)
Absolutely - 398 votes
Maybe but I want to know more about it first - 172 votes
I will wait to see feedback from everyone else before I decide - 64 votes

Immortal Throne Preview[ Comment ] Print News | Mail News | Category: Titan Quest Games for Windows Magazine has a great preview for Immortal Throne in their February issue that should be on shelves now. The preview goes into the Dream Mastery and talks about a couple of the new skills. It also discusses the new territory of Hades and a little bit about the Enchanters and Artifacts. I am always amazed at the extreme amount of items in the game. Each unique item needed a name, a 2D image, a 3D mesh and texture, and stats created for it. The amount of time and resources to just create the incredible wealth of items in this game must've been tremendous!
I'm anxiously awaiting the expansion but, honestly, I'm a hack-n-slash fan so a lot of the existing modules are keeping me very busy until then. :)
All? Well... yeah... ALL. And if it isn't all, it certainly falls into the category of "A Whole Damn Lot." If you ever wanted to try out the different greens in the game, see what is available or simply twink out a character, this is great mod for doing it.
