MetaBall 2 For UT2007

The Metaball website has been updated with word that Metaball 2: The Four Seasons is already in development for UT2007. Theres little doubt that this mod will be as awesome as the first, which was awarded a 5th place finish in the Make Something Unreal Contests best mod category. Heres a little info on Metaball 2 along with a couple screenshots, but do be sure to check out their site (especially if youre interested in assisting with the development of this project).
The images there are mostly concept renders, because until recently I had no access to the Unreal 3 engine. Fortunately in november I bought RoboBlitz, and started to move the assets into the engine. Even without any script support I was able to ducktape together some gameplay, which shows why U3 is a big step forward. Forget offset mapping and HDRI. It's the workflow and asset management that kick ass. Hopefully soon I'll be able to show you a short gameplay movie from the prototype.
Gunreal Weapons Trailer Released

A fellow by the name of Dario D. has released the first trailer for his mod Gunreal in this thread on the Epic forums.
Gunreal is a UT2004 weapons and gameplay mod, and precurser to a larger UT2007 mod called Ground War (working title.) It basically replaces the UT2004 weapons and redesigns the way the game is played, to create an entirely new presentation, with special emphasis on sound and visual style.
The trailer mostly showcases the weapons that have been completed thus far. Several incomplete weapons aren't depicted, and at a later date the author will be releasing a second trailer that focuses on gameplay.
Additional information pertaining to the origination and future of the mod, as well as currently included features, is available in the aforementioned thread.
Finally, you can download the trailer in two resolutions (each encoded differently.) The low-res version (640x480) uses the highly popular DivX codec, which can be downloaded here. The high-res video weighs in at a whopping 210MB and uses the Intel Indeo codec, which everyone should already have.
Both videos can be downloaded directly from the home page of the official Gunreal site.
Deathball v2.4 Released

Version 2.4 of Deathball was released last weekend, with much acclaim from ModD. A praise filled review comes in the form of a dialogue, and concludes with Deathball 2.4 being ModDB's 'Mod of the Month' for the month of December.
I'm sure everyone wants to know what's new, so here ya' go:
Gameplay
Fixed Bananas again (they only had half their effect)
Fixed Player<->Ball collision
Reduced max speed to 209km/h

Fast balls have a fire trail and a 'wooosh' sound (only if you have the smoke/spark option ON)
Ball has a stylish yellow sparkle effect
Post sounds work again
Cube doesn't occassionally hide the ballowner rings anymore, but when you look down you see your own rings
Banana rotates slower in slow motion replays now
Shortreset Replays now depend on the Replay Amount option, not on 'endgame replay' option
Shortreset Replays now wait 1 second, then play 4 seconds of replay in real time and jump right back into the game after it
Shortreset without replays takes 5 seconds to restart again
Bugs
Replays still laggy and it could still happen that you sometimes see 2 balls
Fire trail not yet showing in replays (bug only occurs in multiplayer)
Weird HAX with ballcarrier rings staying at a place and all being weird
