Guten Morgen and Happy Bicarbonate of Soda Day! Sweet, I've been waiting for that one all year long. Saving the best for last sort of thing I guess. Not much left of 2006. Anyone have interesting New Year's Eve / New Year's Day plans? I think mine have been ruined. I used to watch the Father Ted marathons every year, but I don't think they're on any longer. So I'll probably go to bed at 8PM and get a jump start on the sleep thing in the hope that none of those young whipper-snappers wake me up with their New Year's noise! Bah humbug! The paks include extras that were previously available through their Infobase, providing added texture and model viewing support, general tool files and more. We've had the odd flake this season, but nothing to brag about. Not a single snowjob yet. How disappointing. TC:E Patch Released... Then Pulled

If you downloaded the newly released 0.49b patch of True Combat: Elite, you may notice a minor bug floating about. The 0.49b patch for the Enemy Territory conversion was released yesterday but then pulled down when a shader issue was discovered. If you already installed TC:E 0.49b then watch for a hot fix soon, and the patch itself will be re-released over the next while as well. You can view the changelog for the upcoming re-release of True Combat: Elite 0.49b here.

One holiday down, a couple more to go, then 2007 skulks in. 2007, such a disappointment. As a kid I was sure we'd have flying cars by the year 2000. Here we are seven years overdue and still no sign of a futuristic future. Scientists are jerks. I'm glad we maim them in games all the time! It's Boxing Day here in Canada, and in other former commonwealth countries. It's also St. Stephen's Day in many European countries. But the best is yet to come... Happy Whiner's Day! Yeah baby, love a good whine! ...And Candy Cane Day. Bleh. Birthdays: Lars Ulrich (43) and... some other losers. Have a good one gang!
