Two new Call of Duty 3 reviews have hit the internet. The first one is from Game Revolution, in which they review the Xbox 360 version. Here's an excerpt:

Call of Duty 3 feels too much like a collection of outtakes from the other two Call of Duty games. It’s silly, fast and hilariously fun, but it’s also sixty bucks. So if you’re looking for a game that makes you feel like Weird Al in a muscle suit, or Charlie Sheen in Hot Shots, give this unintentional comedy a rental. Otherwise, leave it on the field to die of laughter.

In the brutal end, they gave it a C+. The next review is courtesy of GameSpot and they took a look at the PS2 version:

Call of Duty 3's action is fast-paced, and the sound effects and music are some of the best in any game this year. Treyarch did a fine job of bringing all of the great action of the PS3 and 360 versions onto the significantly less powerful Xbox and PS2. Thanks to slightly better graphics and smoother online play, the Xbox version is preferable over the PlayStation 2 version, but even with some technical issues, the game is still great on the PS2. If the Call of Duty series hasn't won you over previously, Call of Duty 3 isn't going to do much to change your mind. But for anyone else, Call of Duty 3 is a must-own.

It walked away with an 8.2 out of 10.

It's great to see that Call of Duty 2 is still on the list.

GameSpy has put up their preview for the PS3 version of Call of Duty 3. Here's an excerpt:

If you're trying to decide which system to get Call of Duty 3 on, I strongly urge you to pick up the Xbox 360 version. It's more polished, better-looking, runs better, and offers a superior online experience thanks to voice support and more servers and players. The PS3 version is still fun, but the experience is dulled by noticeable slowdown and muddier graphics.

Play.tm have published their review of Call of Duty 3. Here's a snippet:

The bottom line here is that Call of Duty 3 looks superb, its action is flowing, its detailing is immense, and its authenticity unmatched, but conversely it provides worthless gameplay extras where extras are simply not necessary, and it detracts from established and proven foundations through occasionally sloppy delivery - in its core single-player element. Surpassing the success of Call of Duty 2 was never going to be easy, but in order for Treyarch to leave a lasting mark on the series, it needed to rely wholeheartedly on proven structural facets and then build convincingly in its own way. As it is, Treyarch has shot wide of the mark on both of those targets in crafting a piece of heart-pounding but flawed entertainment.

ActionTrip has posted an interview with Rich Wickham, manager over at Microsoft for the Games for Windows business division. Here's an excerpt:

ActionTrip: We wanted to know more about future Vista and Xbox 360 compatibility. Could you offer us a more detailed insight on the way users will be able to connect their home PCs with their Xbox 360 units?

Rich Wickham: As you know, you currently can use your Xbox 360 as an extender with your Media Center PC. That integration is tighter in Windows Vista, and I think you'll see more and more folks connecting their devices on home networks. At home, I stream my photos and music from my PC to my Xbox 360, which is very cool.
