Fable Mac version coming soon
Earlier today we spoke to Edwin Smith from Feral Interactive to speak about the supposed upcoming release of Fable: The Lost Chapters for the Mac. It was mentioned that the delay was on behalf of Feral trying to cleanse out all the bugs we came upon in the PC/Xbox versions as well as include their own personal features to enhance our gaming experience.
“The Macintosh version of Fable is in active development, it will be released as an Universal (Intel and PPC) Application and it is scheduled for Q1 release.”
We shall keep you updated as more info comes through.
Fable 2 - What has been mentioned?
Seeing as we are slowly accumulating a drive of information which in many instances repeats itself from one interview to another, we have decided to go through every small bit of information given and spread out each piece bit by bit. Here we have everything from the day Fable 2 was announced till the last milestone given last week. We will keep on updating it with every new piece of info which falls into our laps or get stranded in the web, so make sure to check back every once in a while if you think you have missed on something.

The Last Milestone of the year
So at last we have been presented with yet another milestone. Apart from the common anecdotes which seem to fill the lives of those at Lionhead, we do get quite the feeling that we will not be disappointed by this game. At least not by the way it looks, which Sam has mentioned, “This game is already starting to look better than anything I’ve seen in the teaser trailer”. Yes, we are now euphoric with excitement. We have also been given a new tidbit of information regarding a new game feature called height maps.
We touched on this subject previously when I sat together with Charlie and talked about the world design. It’s now becoming clear to me what this adds to a game like Fable: think of water levels rising and opening new (higher positioned) locations that were inaccessible earlier. Or think a big hole in the ground that you can fall into. Its stuff like that which really gets me excited, especially when they showed me one of the (many) dungeons they’ve been working on! In actual fact, Iain mentioned to me that maybe (just maybe) I should try to design a dungeon myself with feedback from the Fable 2 community in mind.

Regarding Rape and Incest in Fable 2
It seems there has been quite a bit of speculation going along that Fable 2 was going to have inclusions of both rape and incest. We are not sure where these ideas have been spawning from, yet people have bothered Lionhead so much with questions on behalf of this, that today an official statement was given out by Sam van Tilburgh to deny any instance of this to be presented in either Fable 2 or any other Lionhead game.
