As always with any Nintendo game console, the first Super Mario game is one of the defining experiences on the system. This next-gen Wii entry in the Super Mario franchise has been officially announced by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata. Rumors point to this game being the much-talked-about Mario 128 (originally from GameCube), although no official details about how exactly Mario plans to jump onto GameCube have been made available.
