Q. How do you go about obtaining a chocobo egg?
A. We plan on having several different methods for obtaining eggs. Please be assured that these methods will not require you to form an alliance or anything of that scale; however, there will be varying degrees of difficulty.
Q. Will it be possible for me to make up a name for my chocobo?
A. We considered this possibility, but due to various factors, the chocobo naming system will be similar to the wyvern and automaton name selection process.

Network News: Vault Wiki Opens Print News | Mail News The Vault Network is excited to announce the official opening of the very first dedicated MMO/RPG Community Wiki! "What's a wiki", you ask? Simple, its community driven website that allows any user (that means you!) to add, remove, or otherwise edit and change all content very quickly and easily using plain text and simple wikitags (similar to message board markup). This ease of interaction and operation makes a wiki an effective tool for collaborative knowledge for a community. So, if you have information about a game, a fact, news, definition, new fad, a tidbit... basically anything MMO/RPG/Gaming/Community related. Please take
the time and share it with this open source community format.
We have set up a few core sections, including six game wikis of up coming titles, to get this up and rolling. Which should give the wiki a solid running start. Now its waiting for people like you to start sharing knowledge! Go check it out...

Linkshell Community Beta Program[ Comment ] Print News | Mail News SquareEnix is excited to announce the launching of the "Linkshell
Community" beta program. The Linkshell Community will be hosted entirely on
the PlayOnline website and is a place for all linkshells to have a place on
the internet to call their own. The system features community standards like
message boards, a central location to discuss internal topics and a place to
post events and even pulls in your in-game character data directly to the
site (job levels, synthesis levels, etc).
*The client software will also be updated at this time. The version update process will automatically begin upon login after the time stated below. Please follow the instructions that appear on your screen.
